Description

A “single region” chocolate made from cocoa sourced from a specific region in Ecuador. The name of the region is not very hard to guess: Manabí – on the west coast of Ecuador.

Of course, this fine bar is fully processed into chocolate in Ecuador.

A nice chocolate bar to try alongside Paccari’s “Los Rios” chocolate.

The flavor is described as fresh, fruity, cool, with an aftertaste reminiscent of citrus blossom. Paccari also gives the following tip: “This dark chocolate with floral aromatic notes, red berries, herbs, and earthy tones pairs excellently with whisky or full-bodied red wines!”

Ingredients: Organic fine cocoa Arriba Nacional from Manabí, organic whole cane sugar, organic cocoa butter, emulsifier: organic sunflower lecithin, cocoa content at least 65%.

Bronze medal at the world finals of the International Chocolate Awards 2017.
