Description
Pure (60%) organic chocolate from Paccari, entirely made in Ecuador. The chocolate contains pieces of dried goldenberry (physalis). This adds a slight crunch, and while the bar melts, it creates the sensation of little bursts of sourness in your mouth from time to time.
It actually reminds us of childhood experiences with all kinds of extremely sweet candies that sometimes had a very sour center. Nice. The fruity flavor of the goldenberry is also noticeable, but because of the relative sweetness of the chocolate, this was the main association we had.
For those used to sweeter chocolate, this will likely be a very different experience. We are curious — reviews are always welcome!
Ingredients: organic fine Arriba Nacional cocoa, organic whole cane sugar, dried organic physalis, organic cocoa butter, emulsifier: organic sunflower lecithin, cocoa content at least 60%.
Organic. Fully made in Ecuador.
