Description
A rare wild cocoa, collected in the pristine forests of Bolivia (as with, for example, Palette de Bine’s Wild Harvest bar). The beans are only available once every two years because the growing area is extremely difficult to access. They also require a precise and careful roasting process due to their very small size.
This bar also contains Canadian balsam fir: during the grinding of the cocoa beans, young shoots of this fir tree, harvested from the Laurentian forests of Québec, are added. A wonderfully fresh and aromatic counterpart to the complex wild cocoa from Bolivia!
Awards: This bar was awarded a gold medal at the International Chocolate Awards in 2016.
Ingredients: Cocoa beans, organic cane sugar, and balsam fir powder.
