Description
With fruity and floral flavors, this is a fine chocolate made from ‘Chuncho’ cacao from Peru. This is a variety grown in the mountains of the Cusco region.
Made into chocolate by Chocolate Tree in Scotland.
Ingredients: cacao beans, cane sugar, cocoa butter.
Contents: 80 grams.
Allergy note from the makers: May contain traces of nuts and milk.
Fun fact: Since Alistair and Friederike from Chocolate Tree had to be nearby, they delivered a few boxes of this beautiful chocolate directly to our home from Scotland—along with some other bars. They no longer have these available, so it was wonderful that we were able to get our hands on some. And of course, it was wonderful to suddenly have two Scottish chocolate makers in our home and hear about their chocolate factory and the rest of their lives. We’ve been in touch digitally for years and see Alistair every year at the Chocoa festival, but it’s also really nice to be able to show our chocolate office in person.
It’s especially great because we can compare this chocolate with their latest creation – the Selva Peru. It’s also great to order together, of course.
