On the edge of the Virunga National Park in East Congo, cocoa is planted, so the local population can provide for its maintenance without threatening the park itself and the habitat of the gorillas there. In the park and the Virunga mountains the seriously endangered mountain gorillas live. Important to protect, and with this bar Chocolatemakers contributes a very small part of it.
