The makers say:
Cocoa was introduced to Thailand via the Philippines in the early 20th century. Its quality has attracted the attention of chocolate makers in Thailand and abroad in recent years, and its cultivation is becoming increasingly popular among Thai farmers.
The Chanthaburi province is located in southeastern Thailand. The dynamic landscape, which stretches from the mountains to the Gulf of Thailand, is known not only for its tropical fruits like durian, mangosteen, and rambutan, but also for its gemstones such as sapphires and rubies.
The makers’ description:
Notes of ginger candy give way to plum and apricot flavors, finishing with a clean acidity reminiscent of green apple and grapefruit.
Accented by its versatile aromas, clean flavor, and elegant finish, this truly deserves to be called a chocolate gem. It pairs perfectly with sparkling wine.
