Description
We have already mentioned it with several chocolates from Fjak, from their ‘cocoa explorers – limited edition origins’ series. But we will just say it again: we have been so impressed by these chocolate makers from Norway lately!
Made with Ransiki cocoa from West Papua (Indonesia), this is another delicious pure creation full of flavour, and with a mighty beautiful aftertaste. Actually, we would rather not reveal too much about it, except to say that the flavour notes that the makers themselves note on the bar (and we repeat below) may put you off a bit, but that would be unfair in our opinion, and so don’t attach too much value to it. In any case, it is wise to always take the flavour descriptions on the packaging with a grain of salt, and go and taste it yourself. Sometimes they will match what you taste perfectly, but most of the time you will probably think… ..hmm that is not quite what I get out of it, or not at all. And it can also be distracting, we prefer to taste it first without reading it, and then we can always grab the packaging later to see what the makers say. All in all: a nice bar that we would like to recommend to try. Also nice to compare with other bars with the same cocoa, such as from Heinde & Verre.
Flavour notes described by the makers: olive, nuts, jasmine.
Ingredients: Cocoa beans, cane sugar, cocoa butter.
Contents 60 grams.
Allergy note from the makers: vegan, free from gluten and milk. Made in a place where nuts, milk and gluten are also processed.
Award: silver at the Academy of Chocolate 2024.
