Description
Citra hops, you know them as a (special) beer lover – from all those India Pale Ale beers.
But even if you don’t drink alcohol or only a little (like the Chocolate Sellers lately) it’s an intriguing combination… hops and chocolate. Not the alcohol, but the taste. And it works surprisingly, and fun.
We already had a variant from Qantu – IPA style – chocolate – there it’s an infusion – in this bar from Fossa hops are added to the chocolate as an ingredient.
The cocoa used is – how could it be otherwise – cocoa from Kokoa Kamili from Tanzania. Deliciously fruity, and if we had to choose cocoa types for us it would really be the first option we would think of. Fruity, slightly malty – and then with the tropical lemony of the Citra hops. Some milk powder to soften the whole thing a bit, and you have a beautiful dark milk chocolate that is nice and fresh, very tasty, fragrant, and captivating – for beer lovers but also for chocolate lovers who are looking for something special. Then you’ve come to the right place at Fossa – all those combinations they make, and how they manage to make something special out of them time and time again. Up to and including our anniversary chocolates – which we are still very pleased with.
