Another special dark milk chocolate from Fossa, this time with the flavor of red bean soup…

The makers say about it: “Red bean soup is a comforting dessert that many Singaporeans remember from their childhood. It is nutritious and filling, and it is believed to offer various health benefits – although we mainly just find it delicious. It is made from slow-cooked adzuki beans, and our favorite version also contains aged mandarin peel for extra complexity.” They have created a bar with a modern twist by combining adzuki beans with Malaysian cocoa and aromatic Xinhui mandarin peel. The result is a special bar that is not too sweet but certainly flavorful and somewhat savory/spicy!

Tasting note from the makers: subtly sweet with soft red beans and the aroma of aged mandarin peel.
