French Broad – Malted Milk

This is what French Broad really excels at, or so we think. Their milk chocolates!

44% milk chocolate with ground barley. A fine ‘malt chocolate’. Asheville – location of the chocolate makers – is also known for its ‘craft beer’ scene. And of course the makers got the inspiration for this bar. Ground locally by Carolina Ground.

Taste note from the makers: A creamy malty taste, with notes of nutmeg and cinnamon. Maybe brings you back to your youth (perhaps less applicable in the Netherlands) when ‘malt’ meant a light chocolate milkshake.

Ingredients: cocoa, sugar, cocoa butter, skimmed milk powder, malted barley flour, butter (milk).

Allergy note of the maker: made in a workshop where nuts, oats, milk, eggs, peanut and soy are also processed. May therefore contain traces of this.
