Description
70% cocoa … and a pinch of pepper. A pinch of pepper in this case, however, is more than zat.Want it is not just a random pepper.
The Carolina Reaper has been added to this chocolate. A hot chili pepper. A very hot pepper. He was declared the hottest in the world in 2013. There is 0.3 percent added to the chocolate … and that yields a spicy chocolate.
Taste
Your chocolate vendors do not turn your hand over for hot food. We are therefore happy about this bar. But we have to say: a good bite of this chocolate can also be called really spicy.
The hotness of the pepper does not feel on the tongue but rather behind in the mouth / in your throat. And he also hangs there for a while. Practice! Ahhh! Ugh! Still a small sip of water then …
Ingredients
Cocoa butter, cane sugar, cocoa mass, Carolina Reaper chilli powder (0.3%)
The cocoa is a blend of cocoa from the Dominican Republic and from Ghana.
Allergy note from the maker: Guaranteed free of gluten. May contain traces of nuts, peanuts and milk.

The ingredient list of this bar by adventurous Georgia Ramon actually lists “pain” and somewhere else on the package it says: “This bar has no right to exist”. I disagree on the second notion. Full-bodied dark chocolate makes for a convenient base to the super hot chili. Think of this as a savory treat rather than a sweet, because with the mellow bitterness of the cacao and lava-like peppery burn there are hardly any sugary impressions left. Still, in small – very, very small, because it’s really hot as hell – portions this is a remarkably balanced creation. And it’s one bar that will last a while, because so much chili fire is only enjoyable in tiny quantities.
