Description
Milk chocolate with 55% cacao from Georgia Ramon, a bean-to-bar chocolate maker based in Bonn. Made with Jolomijix cacao from the edge of the Sierra de las Minas National Park, a unique UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. At least, that’s how the origin is described. It’s great to see such a specific provenance mentioned. Very nice indeed. Be sure to look up the estate and the DeLaSelva cooperative on Google—it’s always interesting to learn more about where the cacao comes from!
And yes, in this case it’s a milk chocolate, but still organic and quite dark, with 55% cacao—making it purer than many chocolates you’ll find in the supermarket.
Tasting notes from the maker: cherries and blackberries, with a hint of spiced cream.
Ingredients: cocoa mass (Guatemala), cocoa butter, whole milk powder, raw cane sugar.
Allergen note from the maker: may contain traces of nuts.
