Note from the previous importer Clearchox:
Idilio stands for connection with nature, the diversity of the mixed culture of tropical plants and fruits, the utmost care for the cultivation and harvest of cocoa beans, the careful fermentation and drying in the sun. In Spanish, the word “idilio” means a small poem that sings the romance of life close to nature, a sweet experience, a gem. Idilio’s vision resulted in a numbered series of tablets.
The Cata hacienda grows cocoa in a mixed culture with other tropical fruits. The hacienda is located in a dream location on the Atlantic coast near Ocumare. The small cocoa farmers have united in a cooperative where they help each other with the harvest and process the cocoa together. The criollo ocumare forms the heart of the intense aromas that this beautiful location offers.
