The cocoa nibs are soaked in rum, from the local rum distillery ‘Ko Hana’. And then a beautiful chocolate is made with it, with no less than 80% cocoa. Deliciously pure.
The maker says about it: “We have entered into a partnership with the local rum distiller Kō Hana to create this bar. Kō Hana Agricole Rum is carefully crafted from farm to bottle. They grow single varietal kō (sugar cane) that are harvested by hand, pressed into juice and distilled to perfection – resulting in one of the world’s best pure sugar cane rums. Our cocoa nibs are soaked in their rum, which we then process into chocolate.”
Ingredients: rum-soaked cocoa, cane sugar, cocoa butter.
80% cocoa. Contents 60 grams.
Allergy note: Made in a place where peanuts, milk and nuts are also processed.
