Description
A chocolate made in Hawaii, with Hawaiian cocoa. With coconut and banana.
The banana is finely ground into a powder and ground together with the cocoa and coconut. This way you get a fine whole, and it is also deliciously plant-based, which is also nice for the vegans among us. But above all it is just a delicious fruity chocolate in which the coconut, banana and chocolate come together in a nice tropical way. Nice bar!
The makers say about this bar: The Polynesian colonists took maiʻa (banana) with them on their long journey to Hawaii. It is known as a canoe plant – a crop that is essential for life on the island. Maiʻa was not only used as food, but also as an offering to aliʻi (ruling leader), a highly valued gift and as a medicine for various ailments. Fruit was scarce in ancient Hawaii and banana was one of the few available.
Ingredients: cocoa nibs, banana powder, cane sugar, cocoa butter, coconut milk powder.
Contents 60 grams. Vegan. At the place where the chocolate is made, milk, grains, nuts and peanuts are also processed.
