Description
For the second year in a row, the chocolate makers at Marou from Vietnam have released an advent calendar!
As you would expect from Marou, every piece of chocolate is crafted in Vietnam, produced entirely from the cocoa bean onwards. With a focus on quality paired with a beautiful design, this advent calendar is a true gem.
If you prefer to keep the contents a surprise, you might want to skip this next part. It’s worth noting that the calendar features 24 compartments containing a variety of chocolates—ranging from milk and white chocolate (with delightful additions) to dark chocolate. There are several different types included, with each variety appearing three times. Last year’s version featured six different types, so this is a nice upgrade—offering a bit more variety—though, given the exceptional quality of their chocolate, a little repetition is certainly no hardship. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy the lead-up to Christmas and a fantastic introduction to the exquisite creations Marou produces in Vietnam.
For those with allergies: please be aware that the chocolates may contain milk, nuts, and peanuts.
Contains a total of 144 grams of chocolate.
Dark chocolate, puffed rice, roasted cashews, coconut milk powder, roasted peanuts, crunchy caramel pieces, dried mango, dried passion fruit, dried kumquat, dried ginger, salt, cocoa butter, cane sugar, skimmed milk powder, coconut milk, whole milk powder, matcha (green tea powder), and green tea leaves. Includes:
Coconut milk chocolate with puffed rice
Dark tropical fruit chocolate with cashews
Ginger chocolate with salted caramel & peanuts
Dong Nai dark chocolate
Milk chocolate 48%
Roasted buckwheat chocolate
Matcha & coconut white chocolate
Vanilla white chocolate
As you can see—and as previously mentioned—there are eight varieties, with three of each, offering a truly excellent cross-section of Marou’s entire collection. It is a wonderful range that effectively encapsulates the beautiful products Marou creates (entirely in Vietnam, from cacao bean to finished chocolate).
