French bean to bar chocolate maker A. Morin has a strong connection with Peru. They make a whole range of origin chocolates from special cocoa from all over the world – from Ivory Coast to Java and from Madagascar to Venezuela – but above all they make a wide range of chocolates from specific regions and cocoa varieties from Peru. The award-winning Chanchamayo dark chocolates, 100% cocoa chocolate and even a white chocolate entirely with cocoa from one Peruvian region.
This chocolate is another wonderful example of what Morin appreciates in Peruvian cocoa and the complex and fruity flavors that emerge.
And – by no means a detail – awarded gold (the highest award) at the Academy of Chocolate 2022.
Finally, the cocoa is organic.
Taste description from the maker: This chocolate starts with taste notes of sour fruit to develop into mango and plum with an end that is spicy and floral.,
