Description
See, we like that now. When chocolate makers are looking for local cooperation to make something extra special.
Morin is located in Donzére in the Drôme area in the Farnse Provence. And luck would say that in the same place is ‘Baume des Anges’, a maker of (all-natural) essential oils. Made from herbs, fruits, flowers and other goodies grown in the area. And used by (star) chefs from all over the world. But for now it is especially nice that the chocolate makers of Morin & these taste experts found each other to make chocolates that are an ode to the environment, the Drôme, the Provence.
Morin has had nice close collaborations with cocoa farmers in Peru for years, and cocoa from Chanchamayo in particular has been widely used and awarded. In this series, 63% cocoa from this region. The added cocoa butter is not just random, but comes from the same cocoa from this region. Beautiful.
Taste: Relatively subtle, the taste notes of the cocoa and the bay leaf are harmonious, with lemony / fruity notes that go well with the subtle, spicy and slightly bitter taste of bay leaf that emerges late. Pleasant long aftertaste.
Ingredients: Cocoa beans (Chanchamayo), cane sugar from Peru, cocoa butter (Chanchamayo), essential bay leaf oil
63% cocoa. Content 100 grams
May contain traces of milk, nuts, peanuts and sesame
