Description
Naive dark milk chocolate with golden currant (10%) and banana (3%). With 61% cocoa.
Goldberry, also known as (Cape) gooseberry or physalis. Known for the nice lanterns that sit like chalices around the orange berries. A nice sweet and sour taste whole.
Naive already had this bar in its range with only golden berries, but the recipe has been changed (and improved) by adding some banana. The banana gives just a bit of creamy sweetness compared to the sour of the goldenberry.
“Bright orange in colour, the coiled green shell of the small tomatoes stands out like a green mustache against the blue sky. You get goosebumps from the melody that their tart ripeness emits and go into a state of trance. Crispy bits of the goldenberries excite you. your tongue as they melt and mingle with the rich dark chocolate. This is a true Inca chocolate tablet – sweet and sour at the same time. This 3,000-year-old recipe is believed to have come from the Inca Gods themselves!”
