Georgia Ramon made this milk chocolate with 58% organic cocoa from Haiti. From the cooperative PISA.
We had been selling the 80% pure version for some time, but later discovered that Georgia Ramon also makes a milk chocolate version, and that it is worth it.
The chocolate has a strong creamy milk taste in which the cocoa is subtly fruity, nutty, with also some dark notes from the roasting of the cocoa – after which the taste quickly returns to the milky taste notes.
A chocolate that probably makes you think of whipped cream. And despite its high cocoa percentage of 58% cocoa for milk chocolate, it’s certainly not very intense. In short – a nice bar to try – also nice to compare with the 80% pure variant.
Taste description of the maker: milky-creamy with a sharp, slightly fruity-nutty flavor note.
Ingredients: cocoa, cocoa butter, whole milk powder (23%), cane sugar.
Maker’s Allergy Note: May contain traces of all types of nuts.
