This year, the chocolate makers at Marou in Vietnam are also bringing you their first Advent calendar!

With all the chocolate, of course, made entirely in Vietnam, from cocoa bean to chocolate, just as we’ve come to expect from Marou. Quality is paramount, and that combines beautifully with the beautiful design, making this Advent calendar a true gem.

If you don’t want to know what’s inside, you’ll have to skip the next part. It’s good to know that this calendar contains six different chocolates in its (naturally) 24 compartments. From milk chocolate to chocolate with fun additions and dark chocolate. But not 24 different ones; there are some duplicates. Each box is a little more adventurous, of course, but it’s probably for convenience’ sake, and because Marou is making an Advent calendar for the first time, they’re not thinking about that. And hey, it’s still a beautiful creation and a fun way to explore Marou’s range. So, for both Marou fans and those who aren’t yet familiar with their chocolates, it’s a great purchase to keep you entertained for the holidays.

For those with allergies, it’s good to know: the chocolates contain (some) milk, nuts, and peanuts.

Contains a total of 144 grams of chocolate.

Dark chocolate (53.5%), milk coffee chocolate (20%), puffed rice (9.5%), roasted cashews (3.75%), coconut powder (3.7%), roasted peanuts (3.5%), caramel pieces (2.5%), dried mango (2%), dried passion fruit (1.25%), dried kumquat, dried ginger, salt.

As you can see, and as mentioned, six varieties, but a really nice cross-section of what Marou offers – if we had to choose ourselves, we couldn’t make a better selection.
