Therefore: a dark chocolate of 74% unroasted cocoa from Peru with coconut sugar (coconut blossom sugar).

Vegan, soy-free, unroasted cocoa (raw) and then only coconut sugar instead of the usual cane sugar.

The coconut sugar certainly gives it its own (somewhat dark, caramelly) taste. Certainly a beautiful chocolate for the coconut blossom sugar lovers among our customers – and also nice to order if you already wanted to order the coconut blossom chocolate from Chocolate Tree.

Good to know: not officially organic, in America yes, in Europe not. Because then they would have had to have other papers, had to apply for certificates. Difficult and long story, but that’s why you see all sorts of things crossed out or taped on the packages of Raaka. And we are happy to sell it simply as Raaka, unroasted and organic, and the cocoa is still identical, but we are absolutely not allowed to say that it is organic, and we do not, otherwise we cannot sell it.
