We consider ourselves lucky – we have the newest vegan ‘milk’ chocolate from Solkiki with this bar, but then also the special version with pieces of hazelnut in it as a delicious extra, and anyone who knows the Chocolate Sellers a little knows that we appreciate (good) hazelnuts in (good) chocolate from time to time. So completely here!
Solkiki uses cocoa from Ecuador for this chocolate, and adds cashew nuts to it. And of course, that’s how we know them, in a wonderful balance. Where vegan milk chocolates made with soy sometimes have a characteristic aftertaste that not everyone appreciates, and coconut as a milk substitute is often found delicious, but in our opinion cashew nuts are always a relatively subtle addition. By the way, Solkiki proves that whatever addition you take can make it delicious with very precise balancing, whether they add coconut or soy or pineapple or CBD or cider to their chocolates, it’s always a party and fun to discover what they have to offer. managed to do with it.
Anyway, this chocolate also fits perfectly in the list of goodies, as far as we’re concerned.
Description of the makers:
Creamy and dreamy with a hint of stone ground cashews to balance out this very chocolaty chocolate. Our Esmeraldas were among the world’s best in the CoE cocoa cup. Since then we’ve made dark, dark milk and soy milk – all with gold or silver awards. Technically a dark milk (more than 50% cocoa), but our dark milk starts at 60%, so 53% is not so much a walk in the park as a walk through the exotic cloud forests of Ecuador’s west coast.
An excellent example of Ecuadorian cocoa with a very accessible treatment. Not too dark, not too sweet, very broad appeal… you’ve been warned 😉
And good, and important, to know: we also sell the special version, where pieces of hazelnut have also been added to this delicacy. As far as we’re concerned, extra tasty!
