For the 2026 chocolate season, Omnom is introducing a new version of their biggest hit: Lakkris chocolate.

The renowned Lakkris chocolate—white chocolate infused with plenty of liquorice—now features added pieces of caramel.

We should note that the caramel pieces are quite subtle; they are small bits scattered across the bar. Don’t expect an overwhelming caramel crunch—liquorice remains the star of the show. The bold, salty liquorice flavor dominates the palate, especially in the aftertaste.

Still, it’s a great bar for fans of Omnom’s famous salty liquorice chocolates, or for admirers of these Icelandic makers in general.

It’s also a nice change of pace for fans who usually stick to the classic Omnom Lakkris chocolate but want to try a slightly different variation.

Ingredients: white liquorice chocolate (cocoa butter, sugar, whole milk powder, liquorice powder (3%), salmiak (ammonium chloride), sunflower lecithin), crunchy caramel (sugar, glucose syrup, butter, cream, salt, sodium bicarbonate, glazing agent (glucose syrup, stabilizer E414, sunflower oil, lactic acid (E270), gelling agent (ethyl alcohol, shellac (E903), coconut oil)).

Allergen note from the maker: contains milk. May contain traces of nuts, dairy, gluten, soy, egg, and sesame seeds.

Note: contains shellac, so it is not suitable for strict vegetarians. Naturally, as it is a standard white chocolate, it is not suitable for vegans either.
