For lovers of sugar-free chocolate, we offer quite a few 100% cacao bars — just cacao, and absolutely nothing else.
But some people still want the best of both worlds: no sugar, yet a sweeter taste. In other words — with sweeteners. We are definitely not fans of most types, which is why we do not sell them, but erythritol is a (natural) sweetener that we find both acceptable and pleasant in taste. It has a slightly cooling effect, which may feel a bit unusual or take some getting used to, but it is not too strong. Rather than taking away from the natural flavor of the cacao, it actually makes the whole experience much more approachable — and sweeter, of course. In short… after tasting this bar ourselves, we were happy to add it to our assortment. We are curious to hear what people who also enjoy sugar-free treats will think of it.
Ingredients: organic fine Arriba Nacional cocoa, natural sweetener: organic erythritol (39.8%), organic cocoa butter, emulsifier: organic sunflower lecithin.
Contains at least 60% cocoa. Made in Ecuador. Net weight 50 grams.
Excessive consumption may have a laxative effect. Store in a cool, dry place.
