An extra special bar from Paccari, with 70% cocoa from Peru.
Most Paccari bars are made with cocoa from Ecuador, but this special bar contains Piura cocoa from Peru. More specifically, from Quemazón: a region in northern Peru known for small-scale farming and cocoa cultivation. Paccari explains: “The award-winning Piura cocoa comes from remote dry forests in northern Peru. These lighter, rare albino beans create a slightly lighter color and a creamy texture in the Piura bar. The cocoa has a powerful flavor with fruity notes of cherry, citrus, raspberry, and a hint of caramel.”
So it is not a heavy chocolate, but rather fresh and fruity with a nutty undertone!
Ingredients: organic albino cocoa Piura Quemazón, organic whole cane sugar, organic cocoa butter, emulsifier: organic sunflower lecithin, minimum 70% cocoa.
Contents: 50 grams.
This bar was awarded gold at the International Chocolate Awards World Finals in 2013.
