In our opinion, a very nice combination: the dark chocolate made from cocoa from Tanzania (kakao kamili) where the cocoa is steamed over rose petals and cardamom – this way the flavor really penetrates the cocoa, without you having to actually bite into rose petals. Very beautiful, and the floral flavor together with the cardamom and Tanzanian cocoa are a very nice combination in our opinion.
A chocolate that with the rose petals might also be very nice for Valentine’s Day (if we understand correctly, also made by Raaka especially for this), or to surprise your loved one with in between, but above all a chocolate that fans of Raaka, of chocolate with which floral notes and fans of cardamom will appreciate.
The earthy fruity cocoa, the way in which the (unroasted) cocoa is steamed over rose petals and cardamom to transfer the flavor – very different from when you add things to a bar like that, and in our opinion a success – just like the previous (unfortunately no longer made) chocolate that was steamed over wine from the same maker.
They themselves say: “To make this bar, we gently steam Tanzanian cacao over rose petals and cardamom, conjuring a luscious and dreamy floral bar. Celestial, ambrosial, transcendental.”
