An homage to the classic fruitcake, a rich, dense cake that is especially popular in both the UK and the United States during Christmas and other festive occasions. Fruitcake is all about the cake itself, often enriched with a splash of spirits, but above all it is celebrated for its generous amount of dried and candied fruit.
This chocolate captures that tradition by combining five different fruits: apple, raspberry, date, cherry, and pineapple, finished with a touch of real vanilla.
These flavors are paired with Raaka’s unroasted Tanzanian cacao, which naturally has bright, fruity notes of its own.
We were able to secure just one box of this chocolate from Raaka’s First Nibs series. Through this subscription-only collection, Raaka releases exclusive small-batch bars that are available only to subscribers via its own website. In most cases, these editions are produced just once and are never made again.
