Description
Hurray for gianduja lovers.
This delicious mix of chocolate and ground nuts (of Italian origin) often makes us happy – if it is done well with good cocoa and good quality nuts of course – but especially if a top chocolate maker like Rozsavolgyi from Budapest ventures into it.
They have two versions of which this milk chocolate with hazelnuts is the more traditional variant. Mind you, the execution is excellent so you don’t have ‘just’ a gianduja chocolate bar, but still something really special. And the combination of the cocoa with the hazelnuts and milk and sugar is, in our opinion, really quite sublime in the right proportions.
So this is a milk chocolate gianduja made with milk, chocolate, sugar of course and… the hazelnuts. The hazelnuts are ground with sugar and a pinch of vanilla to form a praline, which is then ground together with the chocolate to get into the mould. Thanks to the nuts no ‘crack’ structure but a bit softer. Nice and sweet too, and tasty!
Ingredients: milk chocolate (cocoa, cane sugar, cocoa butter, milk powder, sugar, vanilla, rapeseed lecithin), hazelnut praline (hazelnut, sugar, vanilla).
Allergy note from the makers: contains milk. made in a place where nuts, sesame and milk powder are also processed.
Content 60 grams.
Also nice to try: the pure pistachio Gianduja from the same makers. Or take a look at all chocolates with nuts & grains – we have more chocolates from various makers with nuts – gianduja bars but also with pieces or whole nuts.
