For lovers of cocoa in the 80-90% range, we went looking for some nice additions. And one of them is this creation from Rózsavölgyi from Budapest, Hungary.
Made with cocoa from Venezuela, from the area south of Lake Maracaibo, Venezuela. Hence the name ‘sur del lago’ of this cocoa, which means south of the lake.
With a beautiful balance of flavors—certainly the somewhat dark cocoa flavor, but without being overpowering, and in a nice balance with subtle fruity and spicy notes.
The makers themselves mention flavor notes of bay leaf and walnuts.
Ingredients: cocoa, cane sugar, cocoa butter.
Allergy note: May contain traces of nuts and milk.
Contents: 70 grams.
