Description
For lovers of dark chocolate with a little bit of milk for extra creaminess,
Or for lovers of milk chocolate with a lot of cocoa, which allows you to discover the rich flavors of the cocoa much more.
Sirene makes this Dark Milk chocolate with no less than 65% cocoa (more cocoa than many dark chocolates in the supermarket) – the cocoa comes from Alta Verapaz in Guatemala. Where in some milk chocolates you hardly taste more than sweet + creamy, this is a bit different – the characteristic taste notes of the cocoa from Guatemala are preserved and are supplemented by the milk. Very complex in taste, surprisingly sweet for this cocoa percentage, and nice and creamy.
The maker says of this chocolate “Let’s be clear: this isn’t milk chocolate, it’s dark chocolate with milk added as a seasoning. So while the milk adds a lovely creamy texture, it’s the beans that steal the show. Rich Maple- caramel notes on this beautiful Guatemalan bean.”
About the Origin: “In the lush, mountainous region of Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, you will find the indigenous Q’eqchi Maya farmers who grow a beautiful cocoa bean. Their heritage dates back thousands of years to the suspected origin of chocolate in the ancient Mayan civilization, so they obviously have quite a bit of experience with cocoa trees.”
Ingredients: cocoa beans, cane sugar, whole milk powder, cocoa butter.
Content 70 grams. Maker’s Allergy Note: Made in a facility free from nuts and soy. Contains milk.

Wow!
