Very nice to see — after sugar-free milk chocolate bars from makers such as Zotter, Qantu and Georgia Ramon, we now have yet another sugar-free milk chocolate in our assortment.

A chocolate made with only cocoa and milk — absolutely no sugar has been added.

Of course, milk naturally contains some sugar in the form of lactose — worth mentioning for completeness. That is also where the gentle sweetness comes from, but it truly comes only from the milk itself.

A beautiful chocolate for anyone who enjoys the creaminess of milk chocolate, while wanting to indulge completely without added sugar.

And naturally — for lovers of sugar-free chocolate — we also want to mention our range of 100% dark chocolates. Those contain truly nothing but cocoa. No sugar, no milk, absolutely nothing besides cocoa.

We know there are also many milk chocolate lovers who prefer less or no sugar. In that regard there is already plenty to choose from in our webshop, since supermarket milk chocolates usually contain only 25–40% cocoa. Our collection includes milk chocolates with 40%, 50%, 60% cocoa — and even higher. Percentages that supermarkets normally reserve for dark chocolate bars.

This particular bar is a milk chocolate with 65% cocoa. It contains some whole milk powder, plus cocoa butter for extra creaminess. And that is all.

One thing to note: this is quite a powerful version. The milk gives the chocolate a beautifully creamy texture, and the dairy notes come through clearly. But the cocoa itself is rather bold and intense. Altogether, this is not an especially subtle bar — fair warning. In our view, this is really a chocolate for people who also appreciate 100% dark chocolate (or at least 90%), or for those who enjoy a strong cocoa profile. The texture is wonderfully creamy, and the full milk flavour is very present, but if you are only used to conventional milk chocolate, this would probably not be our first recommendation.
