Soma makes these chocolates in addition to the more common (and sublime) milk and pure origin chocolates that they also make. This concerns white chocolates (specifically with cocoa butter) and especially….LOTS of fruit. Where in some fruit chocolates you’ll find a few pieces of fruit, or something mixed in, a percentage or so – but here it’s really a lot of fruit – that’s the star of the show, and it’s very different from what you ever tasted. Well, the fruit itself, but as chocolate, because that’s what it is. Quite unique pieces of candy. Delicious. Already available with raspberry, mango lassi, and even lemon. And here…with pink grapefruit.
To complete the party, it is finished with brown sugar – of course also if you eat a grapefruit with its wonderfully overwhelming sour and bitter, a wonderful combination to add some dark sugar.
It is – like all Soma fruit bars – a small bar with 33 grams – but you don’t need more than that – this is really something special that you should taste once and marvel at. And okay, then you can also order a few more. As you may already understand, making a chocolate like this is really not easy, perfectly incorporating a large amount of fruit into a chocolate that is silky soft in structure and beautifully balanced. Well, a work of art – that’s what we sometimes call it at Soma. And if you look at it that way, an edible work of art, then you understand the price.
