Description
Hurray! A very special bar. Those are Soma’s chocolates anyway, but this chocolate is also a special one for Soma. Not only because of the flavors, but also because of the friendship of the people of Soma with the founders of Marou Samuel & Vincent, and now the sad memory – of the early deceased Samuel Maruta.
The cocoa comes via Marou, who work directly with the cocoa farmers – in this case in the Tien Giang region of Vietnam. Marou also makes (as you probably know) a chocolate with this cocoa. See here for Marou’s version. Or order a nice package with different Marou chocolates while you’re there.
Back to this chocolate. Because when we hear that they love a bar at Soma itself, for emotional reasons but also because of the taste, then we prick up our ears. And tasted it quickly after entering, of course, and that pleased – this bar went quickly, we can say, very quickly.
Beautifully sweet fruity, pleasantly slightly spicy, creamy, and where the bar that Marou makes with this cocoa is also quite powerful, and there may be an overdose of licorice flavor in the traps, it remains a bit more subtle and harmonious here, and that just makes this bar more dangerous. Quality chocolate to snack on very quickly. Without feeling guilty, because wow.
