Description
Zotter has always created their Labooko origin series of chocolates with two 35-gram chocolates, totaling 70 grams, in a single package.
They’re now cleverly capitalizing on this by offering two different chocolates in a single package.
This set includes the Tanzania 75% and the Uganda 70%.
This allows you to taste two chocolates made from African cocoa, and their similarities and differences.
It’s a very nice set and a super accessible way to host a tasting. We think it’s great that Zotter offers these chocolates this way, especially because it can easily encourage new chocolate lovers to take a little extra care in tasting and marvel at the differences, with a similar cocoa percentage but different cocoa origins and processing. This way, you can gradually learn how beautifully complex chocolate can be. How there’s no such thing as a ‘chocolate taste’. And thus gain a much deeper experience. Because (in our experience), once you taste it, you’ll naturally delve deeper into chocolate and cocoa, the chocolate-making process, how cocoa is grown and fermented and dried after harvest. And you’ll also gain (if you haven’t already) a great deal of respect for the people who make something so delicious.
