Zotter Filled Gin & Lemon

It’s not quite a gin & tonic, but it is a gin & lemon. Also perfectly fine. Especially when Zotter manages to turn that into a filled chocolate bar—and even more so when it actually tastes really good. Your chocolate sellers were a bit skeptical, but this is a bar that even we get enthusiastic about. Of course, a filled Zotter chocolate is something very different from a regular dark chocolate bar. But the flavour is beautiful, even fairly subtle. And… we think…it’s delicious!

And we don’t say that about every filled Zotter bar. Some really blow your taste buds apart, some are simply too weird for us, but this one… we think it works.

Nice with your gin & tonic, or if you can’t resist being a bit trendy again. But also just fine if you simply feel like a tasty filled chocolate bar.

Zotter says about it: “The trendy variant: J.K. Rowling, John Travolta and the Queen love gin, and Gölles makes a good one. The Hands On Gin consists exclusively of white rum, juniper berries, blackcurrants, coriander, lemongrass and a bit of orange zest and infuses a delicious dark chocolate ganache, which forms a perfect base for developing those refined juniper and orange notes. This is combined with a refreshingly tangy lemon ganache, made with high-percentage milk chocolate, lemons and a homemade finely flavoured bitter lemonade with vermouth. Enveloped in dark milk chocolate with 60% cocoa content.”

Ingredients: cocoa mass, raw cane sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, gin (7%), invert sugar syrup, skimmed milk powder, lemon juice (2%), glucose syrup, sweet whey powder, lemon juice concentrate (0.5%), whole cane sugar, salt, vanilla powder, grapefruit concentrate, emulsifier: lecithin (soy), apple balsamic vinegar, emulsifier: lecithin (sunflower), cinnamon, cloves, star anise, cardamom, wormwood.
