We get quite excited about this one as chocolate sellers. It’s an interpretation of the kulfi dessert you can find in countries like India and Pakistan—a kind of ice cream made from slowly reduced milk with sugar, pistachio, almond, cardamom, and sometimes other additions.
In this chocolate, that concept comes through beautifully. As with all Zotter filled chocolates, it is quite sweet and very much a “candy bar”, but in this case ingredients like cardamom and saffron, along with a good amount of almond and pistachio, make it feel genuinely special—something that would not be out of place on the dessert menu of a restaurant inspired by Indian cuisine. But it also works perfectly at home, especially for lovers of Indian flavours and cuisine, like your chocolate sellers certainly are.
