Yum. A filled milk chocolate from Zotter with Yuzu citrus ganache (60%)
The filling contains yuzu juice, and that is tasteful stuff!
The yuzu comes from Japan and is actually a kind of cross between mandarin and lime. And of course … Zotter has probably seen this fruit elsewhere in trendy restaurants or other places. Because that’s how it goes.
The taste is nice if you like citrus, and it certainly adds something. A bit warmer in taste than lemon and such, we would say. With a fresh fruity taste. As Zotter puts it: taste the summer sun.
Ingredients: raw cane sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, full cream milk powder, yuzu juice (6%), skimmed milk powder, lemon juice, invert sugar syrup, tangerine concentrate, starch syrup, sweet whey powder, lime concentrate, milk, whole cane sugar, vanilla powder, emulsifier: lecithin (soy), salt, cinnamon.
Organic, fairly traded, bean to bar. 50% cocoa minimum in the milk chocolate.
Allergy note: contains milk. May contain traces of all types of nuts, peanuts, eggs, gluten and sesame.
