The makers of Zotter have traveled far and wide to visit cocoa plantations, drawing inspiration from their journeys for this unique chocolate bar.
A true cocoa safari: for this bar, we’ve used cocoa from Uganda to craft a filled chocolate experience with perfectly paired flavors. The Uganda Safari combines rich dark chocolate with warming spices and a creamy white lime-banana ganache.
The result is beautifully balanced: the deep notes of dark chocolate, subtle spice, and bright fruitiness come together harmoniously. A gentle tang, a touch of surprise, and a bar that invites you to close your eyes and imagine the sights and scents of Uganda—or perhaps accompany a nature video of Uganda’s wild landscapes. Of course, it’s just as delightful to savor on its own.
Despite the warming spices, the bar is not overpowering; the spice is gentle, letting the lime-banana ganache shine, while the distinctive taste of Ugandan dark chocolate comes through clearly.
Ingredients: cocoa mass, raw cane sugar, cocoa butter, milk, invert sugar syrup, freeze-dried banana (3%), glucose syrup, lime juice concentrate (2%), skimmed milk powder, butter, pineapple concentrate, emulsifier: lecithin (soy), lemon powder (lemon juice concentrate, corn starch, sugar), salt, vanilla powder, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, chili “bird’s eye.”
