We’ve said it before… Zotter is known for exciting, bold and unusual flavor combinations. Alongside many “classic” chocolates (milk, dark, white) in the Labooko series, they also make the filled “Handscooped” bars in a wide range of traditional flavors (from salted caramel to layered praline and more), as well as varieties with alcohol (from whisky to gin). And then there’s always a rotating selection of chocolates that go just a step further. This is definitely one of them, because a filled milk chocolate with skyr, rhubarb and avocado—no, we didn’t see that coming.
The makers say the following: “A sublime rhubarb jelly beneath a creamy skyr layer made with the Icelandic version of sour milk yogurt, enhanced with vanilla and a splash of lemon. At the bottom, a creamy avocado milk chocolate mousse creates a fine, not-too-sweet contrast with the fruity, pillow-soft rhubarb skyr. بالكامل coated in delicious milk chocolate.”
Ingredients: raw cane sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, whole milk powder, rhubarb juice concentrate (5%), starch syrup, skyr (4%: cream cheese lean), avocado (4%), lemon juice concentrate, milk, invert sugar syrup, skimmed milk powder, sour cherry concentrate, almonds, caramelised milk powder (skimmed milk powder, sugar), sweet whey powder, gelling agent: apple pectin, vanilla powder, whole cane sugar, salt, emulsifier: lecithin (soy), cinnamon, lemon powder (lemon juice concentrate, corn starch, sugar), rose petals.
Cocoa (cocoa mass and cocoa butter): minimum 50% in the milk chocolate.
Allergens: contains milk and soy. May contain traces of all types of nuts, peanuts, egg, sesame and gluten.
Contents: 70 grams. Organic and fair.
