Description
For anyone who has a soft spot for caramel… a filled chocolate from Zotter.
A layer of dark chocolate with a filling of salted caramel and almond praline.
Deliciously sticky—if you appreciate salted caramel, this is highly recommended. It also seems like a great bar to try for fans of Tony’s Caramel Sea Salt, perhaps as a first gentle introduction to bean-to-bar chocolate. And it’s made with fair-trade and organic ingredients, too. A nice first step, and later you can explore just how wonderful it is to taste the differences between chocolates made from cocoa sourced from different countries. But of course, simply enjoying a tasty treat is perfectly fine as well.
As you might expect, the ingredient list is a bit longer than that of the average bar we sell. That’s simply because these are more like filled pralines/bonbons in chocolate bar form—that’s just how Zotter does it. Feel free to also explore their “regular” milk/vegan and dark chocolates, and add one to your order. The Nicaragua 50%, for example, is great for milk chocolate lovers, or one of their many dark chocolates—perhaps the Ghana 70% is a nice place to start, or the Nicaragua 62%. Plenty of choice.
