Zotter Handscooped – Whisky, Caramel and Pecan

Dark chocolate filled with whisky caramel ganache and pecan praline.

Another delicious confection bar from Zotter, inspired by the popular American pecan pie. Zotter describes it as follows: “A delicious pecan praline enriched with lots of small pieces of pecans caramelised in maple sugar. Beneath this lies a sweet whisky ganache made from a sweet caramel couverture and Styrian whisky by David Gölles. The whole bar is coated in dark chocolate with a cocoa content of 70%.” A sweet, nutty bar. The whisky is clearly noticeable but not overpowering!

Ingredients: cocoa mass, raw cane sugar, pecans (14%), cocoa butter, maple sugar, caramelised milk powder (5%: skimmed milk powder, sugar), whisky (5%), butter, milk, invert sugar syrup, glucose syrup, whole milk powder, whole cane sugar, rice drink powder (rice, sunflower oil, salt), skimmed milk powder, emulsifier: lecithin (soy), salt, sweet whey powder, vanilla powder, cinnamon, chilli “Bird’s eye”. Cocoa: minimum 70% in the dark chocolate.

Allergy note: contains alcohol, milk, butter, nuts, soy. May contain traces of all types of nuts, peanuts, egg, gluten and sesame.
