Zotter Handscooped – Sea Buckthorn & Quince

Dark chocolate filled with sea buckthorn marzipan, quince jelly and quince ganache.

Another beautiful creation from Zotter, who describe it as follows: “A quince ganache made from quinces from our own gardens, combined with a layer of almond marzipan with sea buckthorn juice and a delicate quince jelly in the centre. The whole is coated in dark chocolate with a cocoa content of 70%.”

Sea buckthorn is an orange berry that grows on thorny shrubs. The berries are small, bright orange, and have a very sour, fruity taste. A perfect contrast to the sweet and creamy quince and marzipan!

Ingredients: raw cane sugar, cocoa mass, marzipan (almonds, sugar, invert sugar syrup), quinces (10%), cocoa butter, glucose syrup, whole milk powder, honey, sea buckthorn juice concentrate (2%), milk, invert sugar syrup, caramelised milk powder (skimmed milk powder, sugar), almonds, skimmed milk powder, lemon juice concentrate, lemon juice, sweet whey powder, whole cane sugar, gelling agent: apple pectin, emulsifier: lecithin (soy), salt, vanilla powder, cinnamon, lemon powder (lemon juice concentrate, corn starch, sugar), rose petals. Cocoa: minimum 70% in the dark chocolate.

Allergy note: contains milk, nuts, soy. May contain traces of all types of nuts, peanuts, egg, gluten and sesame.
