Description
A milk chocolate with 70% cocoa—something you hardly ever come across, if at all.
It’s great that Zotter also makes a bar like this. They already had versions with 50% and 60% cocoa (still higher than almost anything you find in supermarkets), and now there is this beautiful 70% variant as well.
Tasting notes described by the makers: caramel wafer, cream, distinct cocoa flavour.
Ingredients: cocoa mass, whole milk powder, cocoa butter, raw cane sugar, vanilla powder.
Allergy note: contains milk. May contain traces of all types of nuts, peanuts, gluten, sesame and soy.
Content: 65 g. Organic, bean-to-bar.
For those who find this interesting, it’s also nice to try Zotter’s 70% sugar-free milk chocolate and 80% sugar-free milk chocolate. These contain milk and cocoa, but no added sugar. They are a bit more intense than the 70% bar you are currently looking at. We also have more very dark milk chocolates from different makers. Of course, you can also try a pure dark chocolate, which we highly recommend as well. Another interesting “winner” in terms of percentage is Chocolat Madagascar 80% milk chocolate—but that one is fully made in Madagascar and not always easy to get. And since you’re already here reading recommendations, we can also warmly suggest exploring the rest of Zotter’s range: the filled chocolates for something sweet and snackable, and the single-origin dark and milk chocolates for a proper tasting experience.
