Description
A Limited Edition from Zotter:
A blend of cocoa from five different countries, brought together by Zotter as the best of the year. Whether that is truly the case is for you to decide. But it is certainly interesting that Zotter releases one chocolate bar every year, previously called “Vintage” and now “Opus.” A new one every year, each time slightly different. It also depends entirely on the cocoa harvest. This nicely highlights that cocoa is a natural product, with variations from year to year based on, for example, weather conditions. This will absolutely also be the case for each edition of the Opus chocolate.
About this year’s edition, the makers say: “A cocoa summit featuring mountain cocoa: normally, cocoa is grown in lowland areas, but this top cuvée introduces you to cocoa varieties from the highlands of Ecuador, Colombia, Guatemala, Peru and Uganda. This dark, delicious chocolate with 77% cocoa is the result of cocoa from 5 countries, exceptional altitudes and a fascinating fruity aroma with pronounced berry notes.”
