Description
A white chocolate with almond, where Zotter has chosen to tone down the overwhelming sweetness that you often find in white chocolate. Less sugar, with ground almond partly replacing the sugar, plus a natural sweetener — one of the few we actually appreciate, namely erythritol. Because, well, we really don’t like stevia. Erythritol is quite neutral in taste; it only gives a slight cooling effect, which can actually be pleasant — and of course, as long as you don’t use too much of it (here 3.5%).
The milk, cocoa butter, and almond come together beautifully. A lovely aroma and flavour of caramel, creamy, delicious — if you like that kind of thing, of course 🙂
Ingredients: cocoa butter, raw cane sugar, whole milk powder, skimmed milk powder, almonds (3.5%), sweetener: erythritol (3.5%), caramelised milk powder (skimmed milk powder, sugar), vanilla powder, emulsifier: lecithin (soy).
Allergen note: contains milk, almond, soy. May contain traces of all types of nuts, peanuts, gluten, and sesame.
Contents: 70 grams.
Good to know: the almond is ground into the white chocolate, so there are no whole nuts or pieces on top. It is primarily a white chocolate with relatively less sugar, and a smooth, creamy texture and taste. Currently only available in German packaging.
