How does delivery work
Do you live in the Netherlands? Then we have several options including delivery by bicycle,pickup or regular mail.
Do you live abroad? We send our parcels by dutch package mail (Postnl).
We can ship to any European (EU) country – you can order directly from the site. See pricelist below.
We can ship around the world, but it’s expensive. You can mail us to explore options.
Important notice in advance: It may take a couple days before we send your order.
Sometimes we send it on the same day you order, but it might also take a couple days. You can always count on a message with tracking code when your package is on it’s way. Just remember: We are no Amazon.com and don’t have a big distribution centre. We do value personal service. So if you are in a hurry, or have any questions, just send us a quick message.

The costs for shipping are always a fixed amount, no matter how small or big your order is.
Note: for Spain the Canary Islands are in a seperate shipping zone. Other similar exceptions may also apply. Ordering from there only possible on request and with extra shipping cost.
Right of return
You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason. You will then be credited with the full order amount including shipping costs within 14 days provided that you return the items in good condition. Only the costs for returning from your home to us are for your own account. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product will be returned to us in the original condition and packaging within 14 days after registration of the return. To exercise this right, you can contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org or our contact form.. We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days after registering your return.
To be clear: this is purely the right of withdrawal according to EU law. You can cancel the order as described above. This does not concern, for example, bars that you have already eaten. If there would be any problems with your order, a delay with the mail, bars missing or something else – ofcourse we are happy to help you as well!
A couple questions we like to answer in advance:
Why no free delivery when i order more than x?
Sending packages isn’t free. It’s actually quite expensive. That’s just the way it is.
Yes, we could make every bar a bit more expensive, and pretend like we don’t charge you for shipping that way – which is the custom way to go for most webshops nowadays. We prefer keeping the costs clear and simple. If you come to a store it will cost you either gasoline, electricity or muscle power if you come by bike (hooray for bicycles). If we send you the package we are charged significant amounts, this always exceeds the costs we charge you.
Do you send chocolate to my country?
We can ship all across Europe, and on request also elsewhere.
See the shipping price for your country see the checkout. If you want to order and your country is not listed in the checkout please contact us by email so we can tell you more, calculate shipping, etc.
Even if you live outside of Europe we might be able to help but we prefer directing you to a (web)shop a bit nearer to you – also because shipping outside Europe is quite expensive which means small or medium sized orders are generally not really worth it if you live outside EU.
Can i order as a company?
We can give you an invoice with your company name with all the necessary details. However… We are a webshop for consumers and designed accordingly. We can not deliver with intra-Community (tax) delivery. So if you have a company outside of the Netherlands: You can order,but only including VAT, as a consumer order. Need info? Send an email.
Do you guarantee the chocolate will reach me all in one piece?
Most definitely not. Chocolate is VERY FRAGILE. We do always pack the chocolates with the utmost care. A cardboard box with filling material. This is the best way to send chocolate and most of the time the chocolate will reach you in perfect condition.
However, we have learned that now and then in the shipping process the package will be handled quite roughly, or just plainly dropped from 1.5 meters. The consequence: broken bars. It won’t taste any less, but it might be good to know – this can happen sometimes.
Do you send in summer temperatures?
No, when temperatures are too hot (25 degrees + ) we stop shipping temporarily. The website will have a lot of notices so you will be warned in advance. In summer we ask you to also monitor local weather conditions before ordering. We prefer not to use coolpacks and cooling containers because the extra impact is always significant.
