Getting your chocolate delivered
Postal delivery within the Netherlands – always €3.50
By bike in the Nijmegen area – €3.50
Abroad: to Germany or Belgium (€6.95)
Within the EU: we ship to all European countries (€6.95–€24.95)
Outside the EU: on request – email us to discuss options
1. By mail within the Netherlands
Of course, we are happy to send you chocolate. It almost always fits through the letterbox. If you order a larger amount, it will be shipped as a parcel. You’ll also receive a track & trace code.
Cost: €3.50 per order. To keep things simple.

Delivery time: We’ll let you know when the bars are handed to the postal service. Expect a few days before they arrive.
2. By bike
Unfortunately, our collaboration with the bicycle courier service has ended, which means there is no longer a national network of bicycle couriers. We can therefore no longer offer this delivery option.
We can still deliver by bike by appointment in the Beek / Berg en Dal / Nijmegen area—if we have time available.
Good to know: more than 90% of our shipments go as letterbox packages. They simply travel with the regular mail carrier—who, in many places, also arrives by bike. It was great to have a bike courier option for larger orders, but sadly only local options remain.
3. To Belgium & Germany
You can order through the webshop as usual.
Shipping costs: always €6.95 per shipment.
4. Within the EU
You can order chocolate from any European country through the webshop.
Price per order:

€12.95: France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Luxembourg
€14.95: Finland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Slovenia
€18.95: Denmark, Ireland, Portugal, Romania, Poland, Slovakia
€24.95: Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Croatia, Greece, Lithuania, Cyprus, Canary Islands
5. Outside the EU
We can also ship outside the EU. Please keep in mind that delivery times can be long and shipping costs quite/very high.

10-12-2020: Sadly, the moment came when shipping to the United Kingdom was no longer possible due to post-Brexit uncertainty.
Update 2025: It remains frustrating, but we still cannot make UK shipping work reliably.
Returns
You have the right to cancel your order up to 60 days after receipt, without giving any reason. You will then receive a refund of the full order amount, including shipping costs, within 14 days, provided you return the items in good (saleable) condition.
Only the return shipping costs from your home to us are at your own expense.
If you make use of your right of withdrawal, the product (with all accessories included and—if reasonably possible—in its original condition and packaging) must be returned to us within 14 days after registering your return.

We will refund the amount due within 14 days after the return has been registered.
For clarity: this concerns the statutory right of withdrawal. You may cancel the order as described above.
This does not apply to bars you have already started eating.
Questions we often receive (and are happy to answer):
Why no free shipping when I order more than X?
Very simple: shipping is not free.
We could make all bars slightly more expensive and pretend we don’t charge for shipping—like many shops do. But we prefer fair and transparent pricing.
Visiting our physical store costs you muscle power, fuel, and time.
When we ship, it costs us a box, postage, and time.
The shipping fee we charge is always less than the actual costs we incur.
Do you ship chocolate abroad?
We mainly ship within the Netherlands, but you can order from any European country.
If you live abroad, we’re also happy to help you find a local shop selling good chocolate—but of course, it’s great if you order from us!
You can place your order from all European countries.

Do you deliver to companies abroad?
In principle, no. We are a consumer-focused webshop and are set up accordingly.
We therefore do not ship with reverse-charge VAT.
We always charge the VAT of the country we ship to.
Ordering is absolutely fine—but the delivery will be a consumer delivery with VAT included.
You can receive an invoice with your company details; you can add your VAT number in the comment field if you want it shown on the invoice.

Do you guarantee that the chocolate will remain intact?
Definitely not! Chocolate is VERY FRAGILE.
We always package the bars carefully in a sturdy cardboard box with protective material. However, experience shows that parcels are sometimes handled a bit roughly—or occasionally dropped—by postal processors.
The result: broken chocolate.
It tastes just as good, but it’s helpful to know this in advance.
We cannot guarantee that your chocolate will arrive completely intact.
If you want full guarantee of an unbroken bar, please come pick it up in person.
Do you ship chocolate abroad?
Certainly. You can order from all over Europe. See the shipping rates above.
Please note: we use the regular PostNL or DHL services.
Delivery can take quite some time—sometimes fast, sometimes much longer. It depends on the Dutch postal service and their partners in your country. We cannot influence this.
Most customers are very happy with the delivery service, but now and then delays occur, and for international shipments these can take time to resolve.
If you need your package by a specific date, please email us first.
We can check whether delivery before your deadline is likely—or help you find a good local shop.
Please note again: deliveries to companies abroad are not possible in principle (see above).
