When we heard they were also going to make chocolate (powder) for hot chocolate, we were all ears. Because yes, tasting delicious chocolate—from makers all over the world—is wonderful, but when it gets a bit chilly and autumnal, we find a cup of warm, warming chocolate milk perhaps even more delightful.

This hot chocolate powder isn’t just any cocoa powder, of course, but a sophisticated blend of cocoa powder, dark chocolate flakes, sugar, and a little coconut oil.

And, of course, just as we know Booja Booja—organic and vegan.

Mix 3 generous teaspoons with 200ml of your favorite hot (vegan) milk, stir very well (that always helps hot chocolate), and voila—a truly delicious chocolate drink!

Prepared this way, the package contains 10 servings. Chocolate seller Paul always makes hot chocolate with a lot of chocolate, so I’m definitely making double here—but for most people, this will be a perfect portion. You can, of course, adjust it to your liking.

We certainly appreciate Pacari’s chocolates, the chocolates with unroasted (raw) cocoa from Ecuador, the chocolates made from cocoa from various regions of Ecuador. And then also these chocolates with additives. They have a lot of them, and if we’re honest, we deliberately don’t offer too many, we’ve tasted a lot more, but sometimes it was ‘mwah’, in our eyes.

Adding pepper is fun, we also found additions such as lemongrass and lemon verbena interesting (and tasty), and we also like this lavender chocolate. Not because it is the very best version ever of chocolate with lavender, perhaps it should also be milk chocolate for that, but an accessible (60% cocoa) and therefore quite sweet dark chocolate can also be beautifully combined with the taste of lavender, this bar proves it. This makes a beautiful chocolate for those who already know Pacari chocolates, for lovers of the combination of lavender and chocolate.

We already had a beautiful milk chocolate with lavender from Rozsavolgyi from Hungary, and a dark chocolate with lavender. And from Fossa with lavender & earl gray. But we like that we can add another lavender bar to our range, in a beautiful and accessible form. Hopefully you like it!
