Zotter Gevuld – Cacao Safari Oeganda

The makers of Zotter have visited many cocoa plantations. That is also what inspired this chocolate bar.

A true cocoa safari, using cocoa specifically from Uganda to create a filled chocolate bar with matching flavors. For this Uganda Safari, that means a dark chocolate with spices and a white lime-banana ganache.

A beautiful combination: the dark chocolate, the spices, and especially the fruitiness. A nice tangy touch and an overall surprising experience. And of course, a bar to enjoy with your eyes closed, imagining yourself in Uganda. Or while watching a video of Uganda’s nature. Or simply to enjoy as it is.

In our opinion, despite the spices, it is not a spicy bar. The spiciness is quite subtle to our taste, while the lime-banana stands out more. But you can definitely taste the dark chocolate made from Ugandan cocoa.

Ingredients: cocoa mass, raw cane sugar, cocoa butter, milk, invert sugar syrup, freeze-dried bananas (3%), starch syrup, lime concentrate (2%), skimmed milk powder, butter, pineapple concentrate, emulsifier: lecithin (soy), lemon powder (lemon juice concentrate, corn starch, sugar), salt, vanilla powder, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, chili “bird’s eye”.

Allergy note: contains milk, butter, soy. May contain traces of all types of nuts, peanuts, egg, gluten, and sesame.
